How awesome is this? We’re excited. We were even more excited find out that there is an audiobook coming, and it will be narrated by Ben Barnes. Why are we excited for this you might ask? Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Ben Barnes is our General Kirigan AKA “The Darkling” in the Shadow and Bone Netflix series.
Ben will join Shadow and Bone audiobook narrator Lauren Fortgang in the narration of these stories and we’re looking forward to it. Ben has a lovely voice and we could listen to his accent all day. He’s narrated quite a few audiobooks, most recently, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Fun Fact: Ben played Dorian Gray in the film version which we wrote about in our most recent A-Z Movie Review.
As of right now we still don’t have a release date for the Shadow and Bone series on Netflix so this audiobook will have to tide us over until then.
