New Amsterdam returns for season four in less than three weeks. It feels like yesterday when the season finale delivered what a lot of us wanted to see – Sharpwin – and now season 4 is here, and despite some people’s objections, the show seems ready to explore the romance.
To which we say hell yes, New Amsterdam. Kuddos to you.
Some people watch shows for a ship. A lot of people don’t. Neither way of watching a show is right or wrong, and no one should be judged for enjoying what they enjoy. Period.
(And okay, we enjoy Sharpwin. A whole lot)
Back to the matter at hand, the newly released picture, which reads LOVE HEALS is pretty dang obvious. So is the synopsis, because “Max and Sharpe wake up to a new, more personal dynamic” is pretty dang obvious. This is where the show is going. This is what they’re doing. Buckle up or get off the train.

09/21/2021 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Max and Sharpe wake up to a new, more personal dynamic. Iggy calls upon an old contact to help with an explosive situation at the hospital. Bloom begins a tricky dynamic with her new Emergency Department residents and Reynolds finds himself in an awkward position with Dr. Baptiste and his wife, Dr. Lyn Malvo.
New Amsterdam returns to NBC September 21st.
