Hindsight is 20/20, but it doesn’t mean that what happened shouldn’t have happened. We make decisions in our lives and that’s okay. Time and space are there for a reason. We make choices and well, the shoulda, woulda, coulda – it is too much. Kate Hudson, who is doing press for her upcoming show, Running Point, has a role she regrets not making time for.
She turned down a role in The Devil Wears Prada.
While doing an interview with Capital FM she was asked about it. She said, “That was a bad call. And it was like a timing thing. It was one of those things where I couldn’t do it, and I should’ve made it happen, and I didn’t.”
And then continued, “That was one where when I saw it I was like, ugh. But again, everything happens for a reason. There’s a reason for that. That was a real like, ‘I should’ve made that work.’”
We do love the idea that Kate Hudson has the same thought as a lot of us -the “everything happens for a reason” vibe.
“It’s funny, it’s waves of things that are happening and people shooting at different times,” Kate said. “It’s not like you don’t do them because you don’t want to do them.”
She continued, “It’s like, oh, you’re doing something else. And it just sucked, you know?”
We honestly couldn’t imagine the cast of The Devil Wears Prada being anyone but who was cast. Kate Hudson is such a talent and we do love her in everything she’s done.
What do you think? Can you imagine Kate Hudson in The Devil Wears Prada?
