Lindsey Morgan has the ability to give us heart palpitations at her BAMF-ness while making us want to wrap her character Raven Reyes up in a blanket and protect her from all the danger/hurt on The CW’s The 100.
#ProtectRavenReyes exists for a reason!
We caught up with The 100‘s Lindsey Morgan to talk about what happens next with the A.L.I.E. upgrade, Raven’s endurance, and season 4!
At the end of season 3 of The 100, they touched a little bit on the upgrade Raven had received after A.L.I.E.’s possession. She was smarter and understood the A.I.’s system like no one else could. In season 4 we’ll continue to explore what the crazy A.I. left behind. “When she fought off A.L.I.E., and forced her out, A.L.I.E. wasn’t willing to go. So she left a little A.L.I.E. behind. And that made her smarter than ever and her mind is in the 5th gear now.”
With her ability to code and understand new technologies/Becca’s work, she’ll be a defining force when it comes to stopping the world from ending…again.
Raven’s journey to this point of strength wasn’t an easy one. Her acceptance of A.L.I.E. was a direct result of the pain she experienced around her and inside her own body.
“She went to hell & back and she made it,” Morgan explained, “And I think the human spirit, when it’s truly tested and even broken but it comes back from that, it comes back stronger. It feels like human bones. When they mend they’re stronger than ever. And that’s where I feel Raven’s at now.”
Raven hasn’t just survived. She’s evolved.

P.S. We’re with you Lindsey! We’re proud of you just as much as we’re proud of Raven!
