One of my worst nightmares is walking in or seeing any of my family members having sex or naked. Like hard pass on that shit. Don’t want to see it, and I am positive that they don’t want to see that shit from me
So imagine being an actor and having sex scenes. You know your family is going to be supportive, but you don’t want them seeing you naked, and it will be a cold day in hell before you want them commenting on the size of your penis or any part of your body.
Paul Mescal, who stars as Connell in Normal People, spends a hell of a lot of time naked and even gives us a full frontal look, talked about what his family thought of all his nakedness in the series.
When on the Graham Norton Show, Paul told us all what happened when his Granny saw him – well, getting it on.
“My granny warned my great aunt that there were a lot of sexy bits, and that when she felt those were about to happen, she should go off and do something else,” Paul said. “In episode two, when we started kissing, she took the dog out. But she underestimated the time it would take, and as she came back in we were right in the throes of it all.”
Granny needs to not even be watching the show. That’s a lot of naked grandson.
See what happened when the two found out how much the fans loved Connell’s chain below.
