Hello my fellow Afternators, we have some news for you. The final films in the After series- After We Fell and After Ever Happy based on the popular series by New York Times best-selling author Anna Todd, have wrapped.
Back in October, filming of both installments began in Sofia, Bulgaria a choice that was made due to the ongoing pandemic. Because the case numbers were so high in Georgia where After and After We Collided were filmed, the entire production for the final films had to be moved to Bulgaria, where the cases numbers were much lower.
We know there were probably a lot of challenges trying to shoot two films back to back in the middle of this pandemic but, the new director Castille Landon seems to have handled it well. It’s hard to believe that filming has concluded and we must admit it’s bittersweet. Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin have been the best Tessa and Hardin we could have asked for, and we really couldn’t see anyone else playing our Hessa. The After Movie account posted a video of them announcing that production had wrapped and it definitely put us in our feels.
Aren’t they just the cutest? *insert blushing emoji here.* The new Director Castille Landon also shared a photo of her pictured with Josephine and Hero.
So many feels right? Although we didn’t get nearly as much content this time around as we have during the filming of the previous installments, we’re still so excited to see the finished products and how Castille brings Anna Todd’s world to life.
In addition to Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, After We Fell and After Ever Happy stars Arielle Kebbel (Kimberly Vance), Mira Sorvino (Carol Young), Stephen Moyer (Christian Vance), Louise Lombard (Trish Daniels), Rob Estes (Ken Scott), Kiana Madeira (Nora), Chance Perdomo (Landon Gibson), Carter Jenkins (Robert), and Frances Turner (Karen Scott).
