The actress has joined the cast of the upcoming Barbie movie, with a role that’s being kept under wraps. We’re fine with that because we do love an element of surprise, but we’re also going to need answers soon, because it is America, and we love her.
Barbie has been in the works for quite sometime, with Robbie starring as the Mattel doll and Greta Gerwig directing. Greta Gerwig is directing from a script that she co-wrote with her husband Noah Baumbach.
Barbie is set to start production in early this year in London, with a planned 2023 theatrical release.
