We watch a lot of TV! In case all the reviews, interviews, news, and features didn’t give you a clue (wink, wink), we’ve decided to come together once a week to highlight all those great moments that our favorite shows give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Badass Character of the Week

Lizzie: Kim Burgess, Chicago P.D. Is there anything more badass than fighting against your own personal monsters and your own issues to finally take the step you need, for yourself and for the relationship you wish to have? I was very proud of Kim this week, for standing up to Voight, for her empathy and above all, for choosing to push past the fear. Especially the way she did it, because yes, it’s not easy, and sometimes we need therapy to get there, but she put in the work and she is better for it.
Raquel: Lizzie snatched Queen Kim Burgess from me — just kidding — and I agree with everything she says so PREACH. For my part, I go with option B and say Celina in The Rookie. She wrestled her entire life with guilt over what happened to Blanca and set out to find out the truth, no matter the price. She got it and, for that, she had to face the betrayal of her loved ones… but Celina stayed on her feet all the time.
Erin: Kat Landry. Lord, I love all the Landry women so much and see so much strength and joy in them. They have been through so much and The Way Home confused the f*** out of me, but that’s okay. It’s kept me coming back week after week and made the show for me. The way that Kat was able to pull herself together, to be there for her daughter, her Mom, and for Jacob – here for it. When is season 2?
Shana: Detective Churlish, SVU. Yeah, I’ve got problems with how she was introduced, and how she threw herself into this case, and…the list goes on. But girl was barely conscious and still managed to think enough to make sure the squad got that sample. Respect.
Ashley T.: It’s got to be Brent Spiner in his fantastic performance in Star Trek: Picard 3×07 “Dominion.” Watching him switch character from Data to Lore was *chef’s kiss*. Using only his facial expressions, he managed to truly disturb me with his performance. He’s never been better.
OTP of the Week

Rachel: I feel like a broken record because I just used them last week, but Charlie and Emma on The Company You Keep. BECAUSE THEY SAID I LOVE YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME! And Emma found out about Charlie’s criminal activities at the same time! Because he admitted it to her but it was to warn her so she and her family would be safe! Man, that is some good stuff!
Rebecca: I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Rachel. What got to me more was how vulnerable and open Emma was with Charlie when she told him she loved him first. The fact he didn’t say it back there was a bit of a shock, but somewhat understandable, and the fact he said it to her when being honest about everything else he was up to, and while wanting to protect her, made me respect and love him more than I did/had in previous episodes. #Hilletti.
Lizzie: The only answer is Burzek on Chicago P.D., I’m sorry. It’s been a long time coming for them, way too long, if you ask me. And there was a lot of healing that needed to be done — still a lot of healing that needs to happen. But it was still pretty great to see Kim choose love over fear, and though this certainly isn’t a cure and therapy and effort will still be needed, to have Burzek deal with that as a couple doesn’t just make sense now, it made sense ages ago.
Raquel: Again, you know, Lizzie LMAO. Totally agree with her about Burzek, I can only add that it was about damn time! My option B is Chenford!! It could not be otherwise. We barely had a few precious moments about them in The Rookie’s last episode but they served to show us the strength of their relationship and how they are determined to face obstacles together, however difficult they may be.
Erin: Burzek til the wheels fall off.
Shana: Behind on P.D. Saw a clip of the Burzek thing anyway. Agree with Lizzie (shocker).
Moment that made you collapse into a puddle of FEELS

Raquel: Chenford domestic moment where Lucy and Tim are just together, starting their day. Tim shows her his wound and Lucy is immediately concerned… and they decide to face whatever challenges come their way together. It’s a small moment but life and happiness are made of these moments. It’s these moments that build a strong relationship.
Lizzie: LOOK, that entire Rebeca and Tish conversation on Ted Lasso gave me feels, because for the first time, I thought …well, this show is setting up Ted and Rebecca. They have to be. What else could they be doing? And considering this is the final season the notion that all the pieces are coming into place just makes me emotional, what can I say?
Erin: For me, it was the whole moment of Tyler Hynes character, Jake, holding his keyboard and staring at pictures of Beth, all broken hearted. Been there. Granted, I’ve been holding ice cream and my pride in my hands, but you know… whatever.
Shana: Everything about Jackie’s final rest in Yellowjackets, from the necklace, to Shauna’s speech at the pyre…not so much the Snackie of it all, though.
Ashley T.: We got Tuvok from Star Trek: Voyager this week in Star Trek: Picard! It did my heart so much good to see Tim Russ back in the pointy ears. If they keep plying me with Star Trek: Voyager references, I better be getting Janeway by the season’s end!
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “Babe” – Lucy to Tim, The Rookie.
Rebecca: “Please sir, can I have some more?” – Charlie Nicoletti to his sister Birdie in The Company You Keep when she informs him that: “…our least favorite regular just walked in.”- meaning Daphne. Not gonna lie, I laughed SO hard and thinking about that remark still makes me smile.
Lizzie: Ted: Coaching a superstar can’t be all, “How do you solve a problem like Maria?” Although, if you ask me, the n*zis were the real problem in that story. Am I right, Coach?
Coach Beard: Yeah. Come on, Mother Superior, let’s have a little perspective. – Ted Lasso.
Shelby: “I weren’t being ironic, I was being hypocritical.” – Jamie Tartt, Ted Lasso.
Erin: “ The explorer found a home, but he still looks to the stars when he feels lost.” – Kat, The Way Home.
Shana: “I don’t know where you end and I begin.” – Shauna, Yellowjackets.
WTF Moment of the Week

Raquel: The Rookie: Feds wasting time with a bridge episode just three episodes left from the season finale. It’s just not the time.
Rachel: The final scene of The Mandalorian 3×05. Not only is Moff Gideon missing, which is bad enough news for Grogu and Din, but other Mandalorians might have helped him??? Or captured him for some reason? And this happens just as Bo-Katan is going to try to unite the scattered Mandalorians? Oh, I can’t wait to see what all this means!
Lizzie: LOL at Voight being like, I’ve got your back to Kim, the character whose trauma he could have actually alleviated if he didn’t lie about what happened to the man who kidnapped her and almost murdered her. Voight’s got no one’s back. No one’s.
Erin: Ok, so my latest addiction is Ride on Hallmark. and well, when Austin asked Val for help and then he died and she took off. Wait. What the fuck happend. What happened to Austin? Why is he dead? What does Valeria know?
Shana: Continuing the Yellowjackets obsession: No, the team finally going where we always knew they were going to go doesn’t get the WTF from me. (On any other show, yes.) It’s the whole, “Nat and Travis hooking up, but also…WTF with Lottie? Lottie’s spirit? Travis having fantasies? Or WTF” of it all.
Ashley T.: In this week’s Star Trek: Picard, when it was revealed that Tuvok was a changeling, my heart shattered, and then I got so angry and yelled a significant amount of swear words at my TV! UGH! They better not have offed him.
