The hiatus took too long but we are here! The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many” is a more serious and sad episode than usual for the show and that works on most points. Ready?
Here we go!
Too Dangerous Challenges

Simone faces a challenge with Foster in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many.” He is a cult leader and manages a herd that does whatever he commands. It doesn’t make much sense for someone like Foster to manipulate people into committing mass murder but ok. Sometimes FBI cases are that crazy.
What’s more interesting about a needlessly evil villain of the week, though, is the consequence of breaking him. Simone worked with children for much of her life and this gave her an understanding of how the human mind works. Especially that of narcissists like Foster. So it’s relatively easy for Simone to use his weakness against him in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many.”
However, Simone did try a bowl of her own chocolate when Foster also got to her in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many.” Simone is easy to read most of the time, and she expresses her feelings often. And, while that’s great because it shows how transparent she is, it makes it easier for monsters like Foster to read her and get to her.
The good thing about this is that we trust Simone to put all the crap Foster told her behind.
Dangerous Liaisons in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many”

In another order of things, Foster is not the only confrontation that puts Simone on the line in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many.” Dina returns to her life now that their parents’ relationship is going from strength to strength.
But in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many” Simone is someone a little different. She is somehow more aware of the consequences of a relationship with Dina but freer not to put too much pressure on herself. To give herself the time she needs to start figuring out what she really wants.
Thus, Dina and Simone agree on something like a friendship in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many.” However, we don’t trust the two to keep everything friendly. There is still a spark capable of starting a fire between them. A fire that can burn everything. The question is: will it be worth watching it all burn?
Other Stuff in The Rookie: Feds 1×20 “I Am Many”

- I love that Garza trusts Simone’s instincts so much!
- He truly understands that sometimes he needs someone as insubordinate as Simone to stir up the hornet’s nest.
- It still doesn’t make sense to me about the mass murder. Sorry, not sorry.
- Antoinette and Brendon can be fun!
- Too much bible talk in the episode that made me tune out at times.
The Rookie: Feds season 1 airs Tuesdays at 9/10 on ABC.
