If you asked us a week ago who we would think would make a good Evil Queen in the live action adaptation of Snow White, the last name that we would have said is Gal Gadot. That also being said, now that Gal Gadot is in final negotiations to play the Evil Queen in the adaptation.
She is perfection.
This is why my hat goes off to casting directors for seeing such genius that we all don’t see.
The actress, whose movie Red Notice comes out on Netflix next week, will star opposite Rachel Zegler in the Disney adaptation.
Marc Webb will directing and with Marc Platt (yes, that is Ben Platt‘s Dad) producing. Production is expected to start in 2022.
Snow White was Disney’s first animated feature and is based on the Brother’s Grimm fairytale. La La Land, The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen, song writers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, will be writing original songs for the movie.
Honestly, we can’t wait to see Gadot take on this role. She’s going to be amazing. We’ve loved her in movies like Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman: 1984, The Fast & Furious movies, and more. We know that there is no role that she won’t excel at.
Are you excited for the actress to take on the role?
