We watch a lot of TV and movies! And we read a lot of books too, not to mention the time we spend on TikTok. In case all the reviews, interviews, news, and features didn’t give you a clue (wink, wink), we come together to highlight all those great moments that our favorite shows, movies, and books give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Moment that made you collapse into a puddle of FEELS

Raquel: Jamie & Claire in Outlander 7×04. In awe of their love!
Erin: The entirety of the Red, White & Royal Blue trailer. OMG it’s so so good. I cried and felt the chemistry. So many times an adaptation just feels like it’s going to be the worst, but with this movie, I literally felt chills. Sooo good. I need more of this type of energy in adaptations. Can’t wait.
Shana: The whole sequence in Strange New Worlds with Ortegas working through the memory loss, and the fear, and the uncertainty to really, determinedly, saying that “I fly the ship” line.
Lizzie:The second episode of The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 was perfect television. It all worked out so perfectly, and the good guy got off, and when Mickey goes to tell Jesus it all worked out …man, I got emotional.Sometimes the good guys do win!
WTF Moment of the Week

Raquel: The scene where Roger can’t appreciate for a moment the amazing wife he has because he’d rather focus on his fragile masculinity during Outlander 7×04.
Rachel: Once again, Secret Invasion kills off a female character. Come here, Marvel, I just wanna talk…
Shana: I also have one from The Lincoln Lawyer. Like, Mickey. My dude. You’re out to dinner with Neve Campbell, and you…you’re distracted by your phone? And then you hook up with the chef? How are you aware of the world outside of Neve Maggie? WTF.
Ashley W.: What Rachel said. What the hell are you doing, Secret Invasion?
Lizzie: I don’t want to talk to Marvel anymore, I just want to fight. So, don’t come here, Marvel, I’m going there. Let’s fight.
TikTok That Made Me LOL

Erin: I’ve been on a The Summer I Turned Pretty deep dive, and I LOVE this one on Anna Todd’s Tik Tok and I am in LOVE with this one.
Shana: Sometimes, the biggest LOLs come from the biggest callouts. Exhibit A:
Lizzie: We’re all on Threads, because what choice do we have, and we all have to laugh about the fact that we are, don’t we?
Lyra: So apparently there’s this game called Baldurs Gate 3 and like there’s a man…who kind of has an intimate moment with a man who can shift into a bear. And you get the choice.
Do you sleep with him as a human? Or a bear? This person…made a choice. And the squirrel was shocked. And don’t worry. It’s safe for work. Promise!
What We’re Reading This Week

Erin: Re-reading It’s Not Summer Without You, because I am well, a gluten for punishment and pain.
Amanda: I just finished rereading The Summer I Turned Pretty and am now rereading It’s Not Summer Without You, so like Erin, I too, will be in pain soon.
Lizzie: I read Mauree Lee Lenker’s It Happened One Fight this week, and it was like if you took that Wynonna Rider interview where she said she and Keanu Reeves might actually be married and make it into a romance book, but set in the 1930’s. So, that was fun!
Lyra: Still on my double dick madness with The Dragon’s Bride by Katee Robert. Before I hadn’t gotten to the monster fucking. Now I’m on the precipice of the fucking. But more importantly, the main character is starting to feel more confident in her body and who she is in comparison to what she was. It’s refreshing.
What We Rewatched This Week

Erin: Chicago P.D., the ones where Makayla was kidnapped. I need Lizzie to write an article on the found family of the Burzek’s family. Love Adam, Kim, and Makayla.
Shana: As I predicted/threatened myself with, it’s back to The Next Step. I’ve just gotten to the very beginning of the (awful, actually) Beth storyline. Yay?
Rachel: For me, this week is all about rewatching the Mission: Impossible films before Dead Reckoning Part 1 comes out next week. It’s a rare example where the movies got better as the franchise went on.
Ashley W.: Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War get a lot of praise from fans—which is fair and well-deserved. But Captain America: The First Avenger deserves some love, too! It’s a great origin story and a solid comic book movie. Plus, what better movie to watch for Steve Rogers’s birthday (July 4)?!
Amanda: In preparation for season two, I am also rewatching The Summer I Turned Pretty. So that series is occupying a good 75% of my brain at least through the 14th.
