We’ve been fangirling over Courteney Cox for decades now. (As one does.) Naturally, that also includes following her on Instagram, where she’s put one of the greatest fandom wars of all time to rest. Stop asking on Elon’s hellacious birdsite every so often, and stop fighting amongst yourselves. Because the obvious answer to who the funniest member of the Friends cast is, as well as who has the best social media — not just from that cast but, possibly, overall — is, without a doubt, Monica Geller Courteney Cox.
Probably one of the best things about Cox’s social media is that pretty much anything goes. If there’s a trend, or a filter or whatever, she’s on top of it. Bonus points if, somehow, it’s something she can tie back to one of her projects. But even if it isn’t, she does not appear to be “above” literally any stunt the internet can throw her way. And, uh, we’re absolutely here for it.
Case in point: She recently hopped on the AI portraits trend. And, while the caption on this one is literally “I’m done with trends,” we’re pretty sure that’s not actually the case. (See also: Every post since.)
For the record, no, we don’t have a clue how to caption this either.
It’s not all random, though.
You know our girl’s here for some Monica, just like the rest of us.
If you’re looking for some Friends nostalgia, don’t bother with the FaceApp from last year. The Monica Geller called it “one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen.” What you can do, though, is check out her post which proves why it’s so terrible and have a good laugh with her while you’re at it.
Or, there’s always the one where Courteney Cox basically confirmed that she and Monica are one and the same.
Make sure to weigh in on who did “The Routine” better between Ross Geller and Ed Sheeran. (Even though, we all know who did it best — her.)
After that, feel free to browse Courteney Cox’s Instagram for the occasional sprinkling of actual content that includes some of her costars from the iconic sitcom. (And, you know, make sure to always ship Monica and Chandler above all else. That probably goes without saying…but still.)
Gale Weathers has entered the building Instagram discussion
If you’re not here for Friends, there’s still plenty of fun out here. Scream fan? Good. Because not only do you have taste, but Gale Weathers is all over this shit. (Which, of course, is a very Gale Weathers thing to be.)
And, wildly enough, it’s not all because of jump scares with the infamous bangs. (To be clear, we would not be mad if it was.)
There’s that time she and Ghostface paid tribute to Taylor Swift.
Dancing Ghostfaces? Why not?
There’s that time this bitch proved he (she? We’ll never spoil…) never gets tired.
…and that time her dogs both ignored her for some Ghostface lovin’.
While we’re at it, Courteney Cox’s dogs are Instagram celebs themselves
Are you here for some dogs of Instagram? Meet Bear and Lily. Not only do they appreciate some quality time with everybody’s favorite dude with a knife, but they’re also part of some of their mom’s best social media stunts.
They might need some kind of dog interpreter to explain why they prefer both Ghostface and their dog walker to The Courteney Cox, though. Or maybe some kind of daytime TV interview to hash it all out? Hm…
…but to each their own, or whatever. We guess.
But the dog content isn’t all of the “celebri-dogs abandoning celebrities” variety. See also: The one with the belly rubs.
We also like the one with the “striped socks” that look mysteriously like a bottle of liquor.
Also, there’s whatever this is.
…just saying we could get lost here for hours (and have before).
The posts we’ve pulled here don’t even begin to scratch the surface of the quality content Courteney Cox is constantly putting out there for us to enjoy. Into cooking vids? She’s got those. Love to clean? There’s plenty of advertising content for her Homecourt brand — and it’s actually watchable, unlike pretty much every other ad out there.
And, speaking of ads: We’ll leave you with just one more. Or, well, it’s kinda two more in one.
Just saying if stanning Courteney Cox is wrong, we don’t want to be right. Now, if you need us, we’ll be having a laugh over on Instagram instead of doing the things we need to get done.
