Shelly Flannery Upped To Series Regular For Final Season Of ‘The 100’

The filming of the final season of The 100 is underway, and we’re excited for it. If there was anything that this season did, it was pull us back in and wouldn’t let us go.

To be honest, this season was so good that I went back and watched the seasons that I missed.

I am sad to see it all end.

But with the way that they ended season 6, I have to admit I am intrigued, and on the edge of my seat to see what is going to happen in the final season.

If you recall the season ended with us seeing a grown-up version of Hope Diyoza, and the actress that portrayed her, Shelby Flannery, has now been promoted to a series regular.

“She’s awesome,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg told TVLine.  “I’m fairly certain we were her first professional job. She’s just out of drama school, so she’s really new, and I’m excited to see what she can do. That scene was just the tip of the iceberg. She’s going to be a big part of the story moving forward. I have a good feeling about her as an actress and a person. We’ve got her in serious fight training right now.”

It explains why we couldn’t find much about the actress.

The only thing that we really know is that in the final season we will finally figure out/learn more about the Anomaly. I have no idea what the fuck it is, but there is a part of me that thinks that it is a black hole or who knows – maybe The 100 has been a dream the entire time.

Yet, if it was a dream, I would be pissed off.

The 100, which will end with its 100th episode, will premiere in 2020. We’ll be right here to watch every episode.
