Welcome back Grown-ish fans! This week’s episode was a doozy. Where do I start? I needed to take some shots with Zoey after this episode was all said and done. What I loved about it most, was that, I was not expecting ANY of the drama that transpired, BUT I was living for it! Ha! Between Zoey and Aaron, better known as Dwayne Wayne and Whitley, to Nomi and her baby daddy to Jazz, this week’s episode, packed a ton of storylines into a 23 minute episode.
I cannot wait to discuss it with ya’ll, so lets dive in shall we, because Grown-ish 3×15 “Over My Head” had my jaw dropping left and right.

Zoey Come Home
We all know Zoey has been homesick for Cal-U, her home and friends for some time now. Zoey chose to leave Cal-U and be a fashion consultant, instead of pursing her degree, and so far her friends have been very supportive, well everyone except for Sky.
However, I always felt like, Zoey needed to make some mistakes in order to find her way back. I want her to finish school and get her degree, I know how important it will be for her. I mean, and honestly she has like two clients! One is actually similar to Luca, which is sweet and the other, is bat shit crazy but always tells the truth, whether you want to hear it or not. Zoey gets the push she needs unexpectedly when a rumor goes around the tour group, claiming she slept with her boss and was seen leaving his trailer at 3 a.m.
Ruh Roe!
None of this is true, but Zoey decides to go ahead and bow out and head back to Cal-U. I don’t blame you girl, I would have done the same thing.

Nomi and Her Baby Daddy
Baby Luna is doing just wonderful, she is teething, and turning over and being adorable. Ana thinks that now is a good time for her to meet her daddy, but Nomi thinks not, as she still has not told Phil (the baby daddy) about Luna. Nomi almost blacks out when she gets a text from Phil out of the blue asking how she has been doing and wants to know if she wants to go out on a date. WTF?! Ana thinks its a sign, and moves in to try and make Nomi tell Phil about Luna. I freaking hate Ana sometimes, stay in your lane girl. Clearly Nomi is not ready, and if I remember correctly she didn’t want to tell Phil about Luna because it was a one night stand and nothing more to her. I think Nomi is shocked to learn that Phil not only remembers her, but that he has treasured their night together ever since. Just WOW.
Ana, better known as Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched, sets up a reunion, between Nomi and Phil, after she grills Phil first to make sure he’s a good guy. Nomi is understandably curious about Phil though, Luna is a cutie and she’s pretty low maintenance too, so did she take after Phil or her? Phil might be alright? I dunno. The Jury is still out on this one, because we get a cliff hanger for an ending! Damn you writers! Nomi and Phil share a sweet moment back at his place and she drops the bomb on him about Luna. Phil better not hurt Nomi that’s all I got to say or be an asshole to Luna or try and take Luna from Nomi! I will stab everyone, do not mess with Nomi.

Love Hangover
The love triangle between Zoey, Aaron and Rochelle is getting real old. I don’t like Rochelle, never did, I need Aaron to chose Zoey and be done with it. Seems like Zoey does to because she confessed to him yet again that she cares for him, loves him and wants to be with him and instead of brushing her off, he swoops her up and kissed her! Yasssss! This is the content I am here for. Fuck you Rochelle, move on! I cannot wait for this to culminate in a huge dramatic All My Children type moment.
I was not a fan of Aaron deciding to move on with Rochelle in the first place, he didn’t even give him and Zoey a chance to thrive, he cut that vine down before it was even ripe. I have said it over and over again, but Zoey and Aaron are END GAME, period. No one can tell me otherwise.
In the plotline of the night, Jazz doesn’t qualify for the Olympic trials but Sky does. Ouch! But also, I new she wasn’t gonna make it, because the writers need that added drama and tension between the twins, plus they are staring in a student film about their life so this will make for excellent storytelling. I know Jazz will recover from this, she will have to define herself outside of track and field, something she has done her entire life. It’s going to be hard at first and I pray she doesn’t lose her scholarship but Doug will be there for her, and so will her friends. Until next week guys!
