Self Care for Everyone

I’m learning more ways to care for my self, that don’t always require spending money.

Will We Get Any Zac and Kelly In The ‘Saved by the Bell’ Revival?

If we’re being completely honest, I am not sure that I am up for this Saved By The Bell revival. I feel like they take all of the classics lately, and destroy them. Does that mean that I won’t watch…

‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ 1×04 Review: “Zoey’s Extraordinary Neighbor”

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist turned a corner last week, after the first two episodes failed to consistently deliver the emotional punch I required. In “Zoey’s Extraordinary Neighbor” the show once again leans on its strongest characters to deliver an episode that…

‘Doctor Who’ Season 12 Finale Review: “The Timeless Children”

This week’s episode of Doctor Who was the best episode this show has ever done. The timeless children set the bar, smashed it, and created a whole new ledge for us to explore and get to know in the future.…

‘Outlander’ 5×03 Review: “Free Will”

Outlander 5×03 “Free Will” is a better, more compelling episode than “Between Two Fires,” there’s no doubt about that. And yet it still feels like the show is running on fumes, like they’re saving all the good, emotional stuff for…

‘The Bold Type’ 4×06 Review: ‘To Peg Or Not To Peg’

The Bold Type continues to preach powerful messages without seeming like it’s shouting in your face. It’s able to take an important issue, in this case the problem of patriarchy, and weave some humor into it while also managing to teach us an important lesson.

‘Outlander’ 5×03 Advanced Review: “Free Will”

Outlander 5×03 “Free Will” picks up the pace from a slow “Between Two Fires,” if not plot wise, at least emotionally. It helps, of course, that Jamie and Claire are together again, and that the episode isn’t happening on two…
